Weekend after next I am doing a 4-day boxing weekend in New England,
beginning in CT, and hope to hit as many boxes as possible, just for
fun. Now I have the idea to hit every state I can in a day, just to
get a stamp in as many states as possible. Is this feasible, and
any recommendations? A partner in crime would be nice too! ;)

Well... if you do the Tri State Letterboxing Hike based out of Burrillville
RI (Providence County)... then you can hit three states in one hike!

There is a dense cluster of letterboxes in Eastern MA that you could
do all in one day, all near the Rts 495/9 areas of Westborough,
Upton, Hopkington, Milford, and Uxbridge:
Walkup Reservation
Flying HIPPO
Silly Spider
Bouncing Bug
Peace on Earth
Marathon
Piece of Cake
Hunter's Falls
Angel's Lookout at Peppercorn Point
Tangled Woods
Bonsai
Warrior Woman
These I know for a fact are there and in good condition.

When I travel I try to get at least one box from every state in the
area. So far I have stamps from VA, MD, DE, CA, Indiana, and of
course Ohio. So I'd like to find a box in all the New England
States on this trip.

Let me know if you want to visit the Nashua, NH area. Right on the
Massachusetts/New hampshire border.
There are a few, nearly drive by, boxes you can get. They were fine last I
knew.

Well, if you're driving into Maine, the State of Maine Box in York is
an excellent target. Its charms are too numerous to mention here, so
I won't. Check it out!
